Stove Top Meatloaf

Ingredients

Ground beef 2.2 lbs (1 kg)

Bread crumbs 1 cup

Eggs 2

Onion, finely chopped 1 medium

Garlic cloves, minced 2

Tomato sauce 1 cup

Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp

Salt 1 tsp

Black pepper ½ tsp

Olive oil 2 tbsp

Fresh parsley, chopped 2 tbsp

Instructions

Mixing the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, half of the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Shaping the Meatloaf: Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each portion into a small loaf.

Cooking: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, place the meatloaves in the skillet, ensuring they are not touching. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until they are browned.

Saucing: Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the meatloaves, reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for 25-30 minutes. Ensure the meatloaves are cooked through.

Serving: Once cooked, remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
