Ingredients
1 sour and hard apple (Granny smith type)
2-3 apples of softer and sweeter varieties
75 g walnuts
2 tablespoons flour
1 tbsp. white sugar
1/2 tbsp. brown cane sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. salt
2 eggs
150 g apple puree
50 ml vegetable oil
A little more sugar mixed with cinnamon to sprinkle on the ready to bake pie
250 ml glass
I have a 25×25 square ceramic tin.
STEP BY STEP
In a bowl combine all the dry ingredients: sifted flour, two kinds of sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
In another bowl (or immediately in the planter from the food processor) whip all the wet ingredients; eggs, vegetable oil and apple puree.
To the egg mixture we add the dry ingredients and mix everything properly. The dough turns out a little liquid.
Chop the nuts with a knife (but do not chop them too much – they should feel in the pie).
Apples peel and cut into pieces, add together with the nuts to the batter and stir everything again.
Grease a rectangular form with a little oil and pour the dough into it. Flatten it. Sprinkle a little sugar mixed with cinnamon on top. This will give the pie a delicious crust…)))
Bake the pie in a preheated 200 C oven for about 40 minutes. In any case, check the readiness of the pie with a toothpick ))
