Snickerdoodle Cobbler

Ingredients

1 package Krusteaz Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 can apple pie filling
3 tablespoons caramel topping

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a mixing bowl, combine the snickerdoodle cookie mix, softened butter, and egg until well blended. Mix with enthusiasm; this will help your dough become delightful!
Take an 8 x 8-inch baking pan and spray it with cooking spray to keep the cobbler from sticking. Spread half of the prepared cookie dough in small spoonfuls across the bottom of the pan. Don’t worry if it looks imperfect; that’s the charm!
Now, sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar packet (included in the cookie mix) over your dough layer. After that, evenly spread the apple pie filling on top. The layering will create beautiful pockets of flavor.
Drop the remaining cookie dough in spoonfuls over the apple pie filling layer. Again, a little haphazardness is just fine. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on top, and drizzle the caramel topping all over the dish.
Place your creation in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges bubble with joy.
Serve the Snickerdoodle Cobbler warm or at room temperature. For a touch of indulgence, feel free to top it with additional caramel sauce before presenting it to your eager guests.
