Ingredients
2.5 cups Bisquick mix
1 pound pork sausage (mild or hot)
16 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1/4 cup milk (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients: Bisquick mix, pork sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well using your hands.
If the dough feels too crumbly, you can add the optional 1/4 cup of milk to help bind it together.
Scoop approximately 1 1/4 – 1 1/2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into balls. The dough will be thick, but that’s just perfect!
Place the sausage balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
Bake them in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until they turn lightly brown.
Once done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
