Ingredients
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (chocolate or regular)
1/4 cup white sugar
6 tablespoons butter, melted
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
8 ounces whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed
Whipped cream (optional)
Chocolate syrup (optional)
Instructions
Crust: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, white sugar, and melted butter until well mixed. Pour the mixture into an 8 to 9-inch pie pan. Press firmly onto the bottom and sides to form a delightful crust. Pop it into the fridge while you prepare the filling. If you would like, you can bake the crust at 375°F for about 8 minutes to help it set. Let it cool completely before adding the filling.
Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, and peanut butter together until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until fully combined. Pour this luscious filling into your prepared graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly to form a beautiful layer. Chill the pie in your refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours, or even overnight, until it sets.
Assembly: Once your pie is chilled and ready, top it with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup, if desired, just before serving.
