Ingredients
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Pound Beef Stew Meat
1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper, To Taste
1 10.5 Ounce Can French Onion Soup
3 Cups Beef Broth
12 Ounces Egg Noodles
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1 Cup French Fried Onions
Instructions
Start by heating the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is shimmering, add the beef stew meat. Sprinkle in the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Sear the beef for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it’s browned on all sides.
Next, pour in the French onion soup and beef broth. Bring this hearty mixture to a simmer.
Allow the beef to simmer on low for 10 minutes to soak up the flavors.
At this point, add the egg noodles to the pot. Continue to simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring now and then until the noodles are tender and perfectly cooked.
Remove the pot from the heat and gently fold in the sour cream and Parmesan cheese.
Finally, sprinkle the dish with French fried onions for that delightful crunch.
