French Dip Biscuits

Ingredients

1 (16.3-oz) can refrigerated biscuits (8-count)
1 lb thinly sliced deli roast beef
2 Tbsp creamy horseradish sauce or to taste
8 slices provolone cheese
1 (1-oz) packet Au Jus Gravy mix

Instructions

Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F. This is a crucial step to ensure your biscuits bake evenly.
Next, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This will make for easy cleanup and prevent the biscuits from sticking.
Open the can of refrigerated biscuits and separate each one into two layers. This gives you the delightful layers that you want in your final biscuit.
Spread a little creamy horseradish sauce on each biscuit layer. Adjust the amount to suit your taste buds; we all enjoy different levels of spice!
Now, top half of the biscuit layers with a slice of provolone cheese and a generous portion of that tender roast beef. Let the cheesy goodness melt into the warm meat.
Cap it all off with the remaining biscuit layers and pinch the edges to seal them tight. This will keep all that delicious filling inside while baking.
Place your biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and slide them into the oven. Let them bake for 12 to 15 minutes. They should come out golden brown and wonderfully fragrant.
While your biscuits are baking, prepare the Au Jus Gravy mix according to the package directions. This will be the perfect dipping sauce for your biscuits!
