Ingredients
2 cans Pillsbury crescent dough
12 slices deli ham
8 slices Pepper Jack Cheese
1-2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
3-4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon minced or dried garlic
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to form one large piece of dough.
Line or grease a 7 x 11 baking dish with parchment paper or nonstick spray.
Place the dough in the baking dish and bake according to the instructions on the tube. Remove from the oven when done.
Spread Dijon mustard over the cooked crescent bread.
Layer 4 slices of cheese over the mustard, covering the surface of the bread.
Fold each slice of ham in half and layer them on top of the cheese.
Add the remaining slices of cheese on top of the ham.
Unroll the second batch of dough, pinch the seams closed, and place it on top of the cheese slices.
In a small bowl, melt the butter and add parsley and garlic. Brush this mixture over the top of the dough.
Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the sandwiches are heated through, and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving to avoid burning from the hot cheese. Enjoy!
