
Ingredients:
1 lb (453 g) macaroni
2 lbs (906 g) ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 can (910 ml) tomato sauce
1 can (796 ml) diced tomatoes
1 1/2 tablespoons Italian spices
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup (250 ml) grated cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook macaroni in boiling water for 3 minutes less than package directions. Drain.
Heat an ovenproof pan over high heat. Add beef and onions. Break up the ground beef and brown for 6 to 7 minutes.
Drain off the fat.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Mix well.
Add spices, salt and pepper. Taste and adjust if necessary.
Add macaroni and cheddar cheese.
Cover and bake for 20 minutes.
