Chocolate Pecan Turtle Clusters recipe

Ingredients

2 cups pecan halves

1 cup caramel squares, unwrapped

1 tbsp heavy cream

1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips

Sea salt flakes, for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

Prep the Pecans
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread pecan halves on a baking sheet in a single layer. Toast for 5-7 minutes until lightly fragrant, then let them cool.

Melt the Caramel
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramel squares with heavy cream. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Assemble Clusters
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange small piles of pecans (3-4 pieces each) on the sheet. Drizzle a spoonful of melted caramel over each cluster of pecans, letting it settle into the gaps.

Add the Chocolate
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Spoon the melted chocolate over each caramel-pecan cluster.

Finishing Touches
Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt if desired, then let the clusters sit at room temperature until set, or chill in the fridge for quicker results.

Serve or Store
Once fully set, enjoy your turtle clusters! Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
