Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Ingredients

2 8 oz cans Pillsbury crescent roll dough
2 cans cream of chicken soup
8 oz package cream cheese, softened
2-3 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 package Italian dressing mix (or 3 tablespoons)
23 green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a medium pot, combine cream cheese and both cans of cream of chicken soup over medium heat. Stir gently until they blend into a smooth mixture.
Add the Italian dressing mix and stir until well combined. Reduce the heat to low.
Transfer most of this delicious mixture into a large bowl, leaving just a bit in the pot to use as gravy when serving.
Now, add the shredded chicken and chopped green onions (if using) to the bowl with the soup mixture. Mix everything well and set aside.
Separate the crescent roll dough into individual triangles and place them on a cozy baking sheet.
Spoon a generous portion of the chicken mixture onto each crescent roll triangle. Then, roll up the dough, starting from the wide end.
Bake in the preheated oven for 9-12 minutes, or until they are a beautiful golden brown.
Serve warm, and drizzle with the remaining gravy if you desire.
